Yishun Town Alumni (YTA) was an idea initiated by the principal, Mr Tan Teck Hock in early 2003. After establishing contact with our present President, Mr Peter Ong and Vice-President Mr Lim Choon Pin, both ex-YTSS students, it was kicked start in April 2003 with a handful of enthusiastic former students taking on key roles in the committee. 

YTA is a non-profit organisation that is assisted by Yishun Town Secondary School. We warmly welcome membership from ex-students of YTSS. 

Our objectives is to:
1) Seek to connect with the graduated students of Yishun Town Secondary School and build cohesion among them through our activities.

2) Seek to extend our guidance and support to current students of Yishun Town Secondary School.

3) Seek to collaborate with Yishun Town Secondary School to achieve its desired outcomes of education.

4) Seek to uphold the Yishun Town spirit of excellence in all our undertakings.
