profile ::
Mr.
Charles Stephan
has been involved in
the
wine and food industry for more than 15 years
and has developed a
keen sense of taste for the "Asian"
palate for wines. From a tender
age
of 10, he was given his first taste of "vin
blanc and vin rouge" during
lunch and dinners. Charles, being a
light drinker has helped him
maintain a "clean" palate to
differentiate the tastes and characteristics
in the lighter range as well as the big heavy
reds.
Prior to his
appointment as head of Wine BOS, Charles has
also conducted extensive
research for the Asian and Singapore markets.
He has attended many
tastings and conducted numerous wine evenings at
clubs, restaurants
and for corporations. His main thoughts on
wines have always been
"You don't need to pay the earth to enjoy a
good bottle of wine".
